OFF-SITE INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL SERVICES HPL encourages physician-to-physician or physician-to-nurse consultations to discuss the case and decide the appropriate treatment and care. The HPL process decreases the need for unnecessary medical writs. While our goal is to provide preventive, proactive medical care on-site, there are times when it may be necessary for more complex cases to receive off-site care.
