Wisconsin's LaCrosse County Amends HPL Jail Contract
The La Crosse County Judiciary and Law Committee has amended its contract with Health Professionals, Ltd. (HPL) for healthcare in the La Crosse County Jail.
A 2.5 percent inflationary increase was added to the total along with the addition of a nurse practitioner for four hours a week.
County Administrator Steve O’Malley said HPL has shown a willingness to work with the county to improve jail health care.
