County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO)
The County Commissioners’ Association of Ohio was founded in 1880 to promote the best practices and policies in the administration of county government for the benefit of Ohio residents. Georgia Sheriffs’ Association
The mission of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association is to promote and further professionalize the Office of Sheriff in order to enhance public safety throughout Georgia. Illinois Sheriffs’ Association
The Illinois Sheriffs’ Association was founded in 1928 in order to create better communication and cooperation between sheriffs and encourage professional training and growth. Over the years, the ISA has expanded its goals and objectives to include training and development for sheriffs and their support teams as well as encouraging youth by supporting and creating various youth-oriented programs. Indiana Sheriffs’ Association
The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association was first established in 1930 to foster better communication and exchange information between the sheriffs of the state. The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association focuses on providing education and training for sheriffs and department personnel throughout the state as well as providing 40 or more annual college scholarships and two annual leadership camps for high school students. Iowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association (ISSDA)
The Iowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association was created in 1974 when the Iowa Sheriff's Association and the Iowa Deputy Sheriff's Association merged. For more information please visit www.issda.org.
 
Kansas Sheriffs Association
The Kansas Sheriff's Association began in 1957 for the purpose of uniting the Sheriffs of the State of Kansas to better educate themselves, their staffs and the public on law enforcement issues in the state. The Kansas Sheriff's Association provides death benefits to its members, legislative support, education and training sessions, and college scholarships to high school students. Kansas Jail Association
The Kansas Jail Association strives to band together all those concerned with the custody and care of persons awaiting trial, service sentences or otherwise locally confined, and improve the conditions and systems under which such persons are detained. It is also the purpose of the Kansas Jail Association to provide leadership in the development of professional standards and present and advance the interests, needs, concerns, and proficiency of the profession. Kentucky Jailers’ Association
The Kentucky Jailers' Association is made up of constitutionally elected jailers and appointed jail administrators of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The goal of the Kentucky Jailers' Association is to establish harmony of action, insure protection and success, provide pecuniary support, secure protection and promote the best interest of the jailers' in the state. Michigan Sheriffs’ Association
The mission of the Michigan Sheriffs’ Association is to ensure the safety and security of Michigan citizens by assisting the elected sheriffs and their personnel in the development of resources and skills through education and training. Missouri Sheriffs’ Association

National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA)
The National Sheriffs' Association, now in its 68th year of serving law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Through the years, NSA has provided programs for Sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their cities, counties or jurisdictions. Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association
Founded in 1971, the Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association promotes better and more effective law enforcement, maintains a high level of ethical conduct on the part of all sheriffs and their deputies, provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge, establishes cooperation among the law-enforcing agencies in the state, brings the sheriffs of the various counties into close association, improves and encourages greater efficiency in the administration of sheriffs' offices, and protects the welfare and interest of the members of the association. Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs Association 
The Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs Association is dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field.
