Dennis M. Dougherty

Mr. Dennis Dougherty has been a Director of Business Development with CHC since July of 2005.

Prior to joining CHC, Mr. Dougherty completed a 24-year tenure with the Illinois Department of Corrections. During that time, he held the positions of Manager of the Grants Management Unit and Administrator of Operations. Mr. Dougherty has also worked as a Regional Planner with the regional offices of the Illinois Law Enforcement Commission.

Mr. Dougherty has many professional affiliations including being a board member of the Capital Area Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, President of the Board of Directors for the Mary Bryant Home for the Blind, Administrator with the Illinois Correctional Employee Memorial Association and Treasurer of the Illinois Corrections Association.

Mr. Dougherty earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and completed postgraduate work at Sangamon State University, in Springfield, Illinois.
