Babatunde Okuleye, M.D.

Dr. Babatunde Okuleye is the Chief Psychiatric Officer for HPL and CHM and has served both companies in this capacity since 2007. Dr. Okuleye also serves as Assistant Director of Psychiatric Services and Staff Psychiatrist for Cermak Health Services of Cook County in the Cook County Jail.

Prior to joining HPL, Dr. Okuleye worked for Charing Cross Hospital in London, England as a Substance Abuse and Psychiatric Counselor. He was also a Medical Officer at the Ezekiel Medical Center in Lagos, Nigeria.

Dr. Okuleye earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bradley University and his doctorate of medicine from the University of Lagos. He completed an internship at the General Hospital, Ikeja in Lagos and residency training at University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Okuleye has also served as Chief Resident in psychiatry at MacNeal Hospital and completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at the Isaac Ray Center in Chicago, Illinois.
