RISK MANAGEMENT
HPL has programs in place to ensure the reduction of liability exposure in medical malpractice cases. HPL will:
- Conduct a strict review of physician hiring and mandate immediate training.
- Meet regularly with facilities to discuss legal concerns.
- Conduct regular reviews of charting procedures, protocol revisions and procedural review.
- Provide Continuing Medical Education incentives for our healthcare providers.
- Provide OSHA training and require reporting of all incidents of suicide, injury and death.
- Provide extensive HIPAA compliant release forms and education.
